I've held back today, mostly because it's one of those days where emails get sent too often, where Twitter goes into meltdown and when we have to do our best to just keep things in a place where reality is our friend.
And the reality is, if everything I'm told, is that Tom Cleverley is about to sign for Everton and we might end up with a Norwich player. You could say, no surprises.
But, I've got a feeling we might be surprised. But that is blind optimism talking. The chances of it are slim.
But we have a few hours left and Tom could change his mind. But if nothing happens, I don't think I'm going to be that bothered, because I'm not a big fan of change and I think how we've started is good. I think Gabby is about the best winger we could get too. And you know he's going to work hard.
So this is just a quick post to see what happens and to tell you that Karim El Ahmadi left the club today and went home. He probably knew his time was up, with all the other midfielders we have and possibly one more to come.
So, I'm going to be here for the next few hours. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This post will be updated if anything happens.
