Peace Cup live against Juventus and blarney

I had a tad too much last night and as a result I am suffering for it. I'm going to try and lay off it tonight but I always like a beer when I'm watching the game so it might get a little messy as kick off isn't until 9.30pm, is that right?

I think it is, but I'll go check and let you know later. But for today, we have some rumours. First up is the one about Stephen Warnock and our £5mn bid next week. Second is we are chasing Newcastle defender Habib Beye.

I've also read, again, that Birmingham City are interested in Craig Gardner and that they are going to be making an offer for him next week. I hope they don't or even if they do, I hope Martin O'Neill tells them to do one.

Peace Cup v Juventus

Right, it is a late kick off and we will be running a blog of sorts all day from here. You can also watch the game live here.

Streams

Right, I'm back and after a couple of beers, I feel so much better. Here are some streams where you can watch the match.

Team News

Guzan, Lichaj, Cuellar, Davies, Shorey, Albrighton, Reo-Coker, Sidwell, Young, Weimann, Carew. Subs: Parish, Bannan, Herd, Lowry, Hofbauer, Collins, G Gardner.

Half Time: Aston Villa 0 Juventus 0

Juventus have had more possession but we've looked good when we have had the ball and take away a very good save from Buffon and we could be one up. I don't think Guzan has had a save to make.

Bottom line, it's clear to see the football both teams are trying to play and while we are the more direct, it could be what wins the match for us.

Full Time: Aston Villa 0 Juventus 0

Juventus had more chances in the second half and it was just a case of them not hitting the target. An extra 30 minutes now and maybe even penalties.
