Morning all and Merry Christmas. I have to be quick because this really is Christmas for me today and I have a feast of beer and home cooked food to get through.
James Milner is up for an award and you get to help him win it. I have to say since he's moved into the middle he has really looked the part and well, I think he deserves this. Now, this award is organised by the PFA (Professional Footballers' Association) but it is the 'fans award' - nothing to do with us, but James Milner is currently sitting very high up the list and just needs a few more votes and you don't have long and it really shouldn't go to Rooney or Anelka just because they had one good game on TV. Vote for Milner - he deserves it this month, he really does.

Moving on, we have some speculation and the talk is that Martin O'Neill is showing an interest in Sunderland striker Kenwyn Jones and that we are going to go head to head with Liverpool to sign him? If your name is Kenwyn Jones and you are reading this, who do you want to play for?
I'd love a player like Kenwyn Jones - he is young, okay not too young, but still has a few good years in him and he is strong. He knows how to score goals but unfortunately doesn't get that many opportunities at Sunderland so a move to us would be good for him.
I'd swap Heskey or Jones, but that is just me. Right, I was serious above about today is my Christmas Day, so I have to run or the wife won't be nice to me for a long time.
