According to a very early email I've just read, Richard Dunne is having a medical at Bodymoor or so some radio station has said this morning, I'm not sure as I've not heard it myself, but if it is true you can pretty much scrap the James Collins rumour that popped up yesterday.
West Ham didn't mention anything about a bid and neither did the club site, so we left it alone but if Dunne is coming O'Neill isn't going to bring in any more central defenders.
That is just me making an assumption, but as a manager that likes to bring through younger players - the club have told me so it must be true, he isn't going to buy more than one when he has Clark and Lowry waiting in the wings. He doesn't need to.
But, if it is just Richard Dunne today, are you going to be disappointed? I think I will a little because of the players we've brought in, I don't think any have really strengthened the starting eleven and wasn't that the point?
Still, we can all be surprised. Martin O'Neill might make a few things happen. Stay logged in as we'll be adding any links to this page.

Sky Sports understand that Pompey are about to sign Nick Shorey on loan for a season. If he goes, he'll get added to the list as it is a full season and he won't be available for us. I'm not convinced this is a good idea but Martin O'Neill clearly has an issue with the player and isn't a favourite.
