Aston Villa lose at Sunderland and stand on the edge of relegation, 20 games in

What do you want me to write? Should I write about how the players didn't exactly look like they were playing for their jobs or that when we went 2-1 down Garde looked a man lost? No, I wont write that, because we've known the first and how else is Garde supposed to look.

And this isn't me having a pop at Garde. He can't be blamed for accepting the job. The CEO can be blamed for giving the job to the man before him and then sacking him too late. Garde has done nothing wrong, but yes, if we get relegated he has to go, but not for any other reason than we need a man that has experience of getting teams out of the Championship. Hell, I'd even say keep Garde on for when we come back as it might be cheaper.

But other than that, I don't know what to write and I don't know how to make you feel better. I can tell you that the goal was pretty special, but at the same time, it's almost as if we were just lucky. I mean, it cam from Traore down the right, but if you look at everything else he did in the second half when coming on, you'd be excused for thinking we just got lucky.

But it was nice. But I've got a feeling some players are going to come in for some stick tonight. Most of it I'm sure will be over the top but you can hardly blame the supporters. Aston Villa are staring relegation and it's not nice.

Still, if we get rid of the CEO and his team of merry men, we might stand a chance of winning something next season. There is always the other side of the coin.
