In the first half, despite Wigan scoring early, we had most of the game and for times, we looked very good. In one ten minute spell, we even had 89% possession.
The second half was a little different. We came into it more, but the first fifteen minutes were all Wigan and well, when we did come into it, we took hold of the game, much like the first, it just took us longer.
But it wasn't all us. It wasn't like the first, but it was close. Still, you'll get the details on Monday, for now, something else.
Magic moments
These moments are not really magic, just moments of the match.
- Heskey was brought off at half time. Talk is he was close to a red in the tunnel. Albrighton replaced him.
- Bent missed a sitter in the second half. My wife could have scored it.
- Ashley Young scored a free kick. Okay, it was passed off first, but he didn't try and hit it into the top corner, he went for the bottom corner and it went in.
Now for beer. I'm off.
