Brad Friedel, currently the second best keeper in the Premier League according to the Actim Index, is at the centre of the speculation today as one national newspaper is suggesting that Robert Green could be coming to us with Big Brad going the other way.
Now, don't get me wrong, I think Green is a fantastic keeper and with our back four in front of him, he could soon be climbing up the Actim list (he isn't currently in the top ten) quicker than a Birmingham City fan scrambles for his weekly benefits money, but hasn't Brad done a fantastic job?
Given the choice of either keeper when Brad came in, I'd have picked Green, but Friedel has done a great job for us and well, it would just be nice for him to stay and does this mean that Guzan will forever be just a number two?
This is just speculation, so take it whichever way you want, but Green for me is the best English keeper available and it would sort of fit in to what O'Neill appears to be doing. New post coming up later just in time for the Sundelrand game.
