It could all be decided this weekend, for us anyway. You see, if you've been living under a rock the past few days you might not know that there are two games left of the season and we're currently four points from second place. It's a big ask.
But it could go down to the very last game of the season if Cardiff don't beat Hull and we win. Now, wouldn't that be fun?
But we also need Fulham to lose one, so it's fair to say that it's a long shot. But then we'll still have the play-offs and that might be fun too. I mean, it's more football and despite what everyone thinks or says, it we do go up this season, it will ultimately be because of Steve Bruce.
He came in when we were in a bad place. The owner had spent all the money not really having an idea. He'd given the job to a manager who ended up with an 8.3% win rate and is in such high demand he's had exactly no jobs since. Bruce, if we go up wont get the praise he deserves but don't you worry, if we don't go up, he'll get dogs abuse from some.
But that's another post. This is one of optimism, because with two games of the season remaining, it's still possible. Considering the start we had, it's not bad.
Anyway, match is tomorrow. I'm going to go out and get my BBQ ready for later. It feels like a good day for a BBQ.
