Brighton this weekend and live press conference

Isn't it nice to know that in a couple of days, football is back. Try searching for proper football is back on this blog and it increases over time. Is it just me or international matches happening more and more these days?

And it's a weekend we have to be firing on all cylinders. We win and we could potentially go above Manchester United and Spurs. Think about that for a moment.

The season might be eight games in, but it's still very tight. It doesn't feel like a normal season and things have certainly got a lot tougher since we were away. And Brighton shouldn't be underestimated. They are playing some decent football and have a manager that I think will do well ... given the time.

And we did well last time out. It's a long time ago now and it came at a good and bad time. Good, because it was nice to finish with a good result, but bad because players have gone away and that momentum is broken. Maybe not for John McGinn though.

And Brighton will also not sit back at Villa Park, they will have a go. They will use the ball well and they'll break with purpose. The midfield will win this game for our side this weekend if we are to win it and I'm looking forward. Live press conference in an hour below. Updates after.
