Is Martin O'Neill making enquiries at Spurs? It is likely

<p.According to reports this morning, we’ve spoken to Spurs about David Bentley and I fancy there might be some truth in this as we know Martin O’Neill made an offer last summer.

We don't know how much it was, but according to the PR General, it was more than any other club, so at the time you've got to fancy the move to Spurs was very much driven by the player and not Blackburn. Well, now I fancy the player doesn't have much say in the matter.

There was talk recently that he could be purchased for as little as £6mn. but I fancy it will cost more than that but he would be a valuable addition to the squad, that never rotates.
