Football is back, Leicester tomorrow, Southgate doing what Southgate does best and version two coming

A lot has happened since we thrashed Liverpool and on more than one occasion I had written a post. But none of the posts came close to the one before it, so I didn't publish.

And some were quite laughable. First we have the proposed changes to the League, brought by Liverpool and Manchester United. My post was about to be published but it was a bit of a joke. The post ended with change is coming, but it wont be this plan. But change is coming and it may go some way to fixing the game. But I doubt it.

Then we had Gareth Southgate. I like Southgate. I don't think he's a very good manager though. He failed at Middlesbrough and the reason why he's done okay with England is because he's had it easy. It baffled me though that he played Jack and Jack was man of the match but then decided to not play him again. The job of the England manager is to play the best players.

Southgate thinks he's better than that. The result against Denmark shows that he isn't. And he'll win some and he'll lose some, but you have to play the players that are in form and doing the business. The England manager shouldn't be allowed to pick the starting eleven or have any say in the subs. He should be there to essentially getting them up for the game. I thought that was what he was doing, it turns out, he's meddling again just like he did at Middlesbrough and looked what happened to him in that job.

At Leicester tomorrow

But this post isn't about what has happened, it's about tomorrow and Leicester will be tough. That is a strange thing to write but Leicester play the right type of football and have done for a few years now. And tomorrow will be no different. But we've shown this season that we know how to play that way too.

And to see it again is important. We can win tomorrow because we can win every match this season if we approach it the same way we approached Liverpool and Fulham. We are on a little bit of a run and things are starting to look good. Confidence is high and rightly so.

I'll be back in the morning, but for now I need to get my back fixed. Not sure how it happened, but I turned in bed this morning and something happened. Any suggestions on how I can fix it would be greatly appreciated.
