Aston Villa v Fulham: Updates, team news and bouncing back

I wrote before the last match and this week that if we didn't win the match last weekend, it was always about how we bounced back. Well, today is the day and if we don't bounce back with a win, I know what some will say. For me though, it's not about one game, so nothing is changing for me.

But I know for some every half matters. And you know what that's fine. But we're 12 games into a very long season and we're a place and a point behind top six. I'm actually quite happy all things considered.

And all things considered is the important part in that last paragraph. You see, it's not Christmas every weekend and the Easter bunny isn't in the garden hiding chocolate eggs.

But a dominant win with a few goals would be perfect. But I'm not expecting that. But I am putting my money where my mouth is and I am having a little bet that will include us. I just feel as if we are going to bounce back after last weekend, because I still believe we're going to get promoted this season. I mean, things are not that bad and we're within touching distance.

But I'll be back before kick off. It's getting cold here, so going to put the bikes in the little garage. Snow is coming.
