You have to be happy with the result especially after how we started, going one down after three minutes and this isn't me playing down the result, but if the teams below Norwich win their games in hand, Norwich are in the bottom three.
This is just one result. Not a great performance but an excellent result. But forget about all that for now, it was a win and we were desperate for a win and that is all that really matters right now.
If we stay up, I'm sure changes are coming and I'm sure we'll get a CEO that knows something about football and can support the manager. Paul Lambert isn't the problem and he showed tonight that with better players than the opposition, he'll get better results.
But I'm a happy man tonight
So I'm very happy but the core of the happiness is in the knowledge that we're one step closer to survival in the league.
Two goals from Benteke, one was a nice overhead kick, a well taken goal from Bacuna and an own goal was what did it for us today and despite not really creating that much (there was a time in the match when we had more goals than shots on target), we were not called on in the second half and did just enough to not concede and cause any unnecessary concerns.
You could actually say that the second half was professional. And on this note, I'm going to leave it today, because we've had a good day and I need to celebrate.
