Is it a big game today? I'm not so sure anymore. We need to win, that much is certain and three points against the team bottom of the table is a necessity and it will also hopefully mean we move up to 14th and within three points off ninth place.
And that is how close we are. So, yes, it is a massive game and we need to forget the 'Harry effect' and that Lambert is still moulding his team.
It's about winning. It's about wanting the win and it's about not giving the ball away easily and playing backwards if you have to keep the ball.
Against Reading, we were sloppy at times and gave the ball away too easily and if truth be written, were lucky to get the three points, but sometimes you need that luck and especially so when playing sides around you.
Updates, team news stats and banter
So, we are here. Three hours from kick off and the nail biting begins, because we do actually need to win and if we do, it will be the first time in 18 months we have won consecutive league matches.
Did you like that stat? We have more (thanks to the BBC):
- The starting line-up against Reading on Tuesday was the youngest ever in the Premier League, with an average age of 23 years and 324 days
- Seventeen of the 22 goals they have conceded have come in the second half - the highest percentage (77%) in the top flight
- We've only gained one point from losing positions this season
Anyway, team news in two hours and updates throughout the match here and on Twitter. Live long and prosper.
